How can I book?
Book online – go to the relevant activity and click book now. You are welcome to call us on 01797 321885 to discuss any queries. Jet Ski Rental must be booked via the phone. We do ask for payment to secure your booking, please have your card handy when calling. Availability on the lake changes regularly and activities are not reserved until the point of booking confirmation.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
To be fair to everyone, we ask only book if you are sure you can get here. Once the activity is booked it cannot be cancelled or changed.

What happens if I am late?
You will have a timed appointment; we cannot be held responsible or offer a refund or credit if you miss this slot for any reason.
Please allow plenty of time to get here, the traffic can be very slow on a hot day via Camber, Dymchurch and the A2070 from Ashford.
Do I have to be a competent swimmer to enjoy the activities?
You must be confident in water for all activities. You Will Go Under ?
For the Aqua Park you MUST be able to swim 50m with a buoyancy aid on and be confident in the water. If seen struggling to swim, a lifeguard will ask you to leave the water and you will not be allowed back onto the Aqua Park.
Are there any hidden extras?
No, all packages include Wetsuit, Buoyancy Aid and Helmet as required. However, don’t forget money for Slushies, Hot chocolates or Ice Creams
Will our session be cancelled if it rains?
Action Watersports is prepared for the British weather and activities will continue in the rain, it can be more fun ?
We have a very kind microclimate and miss much of the bad weather. We will always put your safety 1st; the lake is very sheltered and we will stay open when it is safe to do so. If you decide not to come when we are open, there will be no refund or credit.
We will call you if the weather prevents the activities from going ahead and issue you a credit
What happens if there is a storm?
If a storm cancels play, we will try to recommence your activity as soon as possible. If this is not possible, you will receive a credit to visit us again for a new session.
Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Are there any changing rooms and/or showers?
We recommend you wear your swim wear under your clothes when you arrive at the lake, this avoids any delays with the changing rooms. We have changing rooms, toilets, and hot showers.
Please see our COVID Policy as there are restrictions on the use of these.
Is there parking?
There is parking and an overflow for busy days. Please park considerately ensuring the maximum number of cars can use the car park. If using the overflow carpark, please take care as you walk back along the road to our main site.
Can I bring my own food and drink onto the site?
You are welcome to bring snacks, we have a wide range of refreshments for sale. We request you do not bring picnics on site – we are very close to some lovely beaches that you could picnic or BBQ at after your visit to us.

Can I swim in the lake?
No swimming in the lake except for our pre-booked open water swimming sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Are dogs allowed on site?
We love dogs and well-behaved dogs are always welcome. We ask you to respect other guests and ensure your dog isn’t a nuisance (including barking) or cause fear to any guest. Don’t forget your dog can enjoy the water during the Pups on SUPs evenings. Dogs are not allowed in the water at any other time
Can I bring my own Jet Ski
We wish we could still offer Jet Ski Launch in the summer, but it is not possible. More info for Jet Ski Owners here.
Can I bring my own Paddle Board or Kayak?
Can I participate if I am pregnant?
If you are pregnant, we do not advise you partake in any activity. Please consult your doctor
Must I remove all jewellery?
Please leave your gems at home as we recommend no jewellery to be worn during activities.
How old do you need to be to go on the aqua park?
The minimum age for participation on the Aqua Park is 6 years old. Children aged 6 to 10 must be accompanied by an adult, on a ratio of 1:3.
Can I leave the aqua park before my 50 minutes is up?
Yes: you can leave before your session is up, however you cannot return to the Aqua Park once you have left.
Can I wear shoes?
Trainers or wet shoes can be worn on Jet Ski’s. No shoes to be worn on any other activity. You can wear wetsuit socks on the Aqua Park – no hard soles. However Barefoot is fab for all activities.
Can I wear my spectacles?
No Glasses or goggles to be worn during any activity except Jet Ski Rental. If you have to wear your glasses whilst Jet Skiing, this is entirely at your own risk, as there is a high chance of losing or damaging them. Please ensure you use a sports band strap retainer for your glasses. Prescription goggles can be worn if necessary, however this is at your own risk.

Is the lake deep?
It’s relatively shallow so it warms up quickly in the summer but is 6 to 10 foot and there is no shallow end. You can’t play unless you are confident in the water and can swim.
Are there any fish?
The lake water is clean and healthy, so we do have fish. Don’t worry, they are more scared of us, so it is very unusual to see or feel one. They are manly little roach
