Do I have to be a competent swimmer?

You must be confident in water for all activities, YOU WILL GO UNDER! For the Aqua Park you MUST be able to swim 50m with a buoyancy aid on and be confident in the water. If seen struggling to swim, a lifeguard will take you out of the water and you will not be allowed back onto the Aqua Park.

 

Do I have to wear a wetsuit?

Wetsuits are only compulsory for FlyBoarding and Barefoot water-skiing. It is your choice on the other activities. You are welcome to you bring your own wetsuit if you wish. Please wear appropriate swimwear if you are not wearing a wetsuit, no loose-fitting clothing, mankini’s or fancy dress!!

 

Are there any changing rooms and/or showers?

We have changing rooms, toilets and hot showers. We recommend you wear your swim wear under your clothes when you arrive at the lake, this avoids any delays with the changing rooms.

 

Can I bring my own food and drink onto the site?

Yes, alternatively we have a good selection of light refreshments at reasonable prices. You are welcome to pre-book one of the 3 gas BBQ’s to cook your own food.

 

Are there any hidden extras?

No, all packages include Wetsuit, Buoyancy Aid and Helmet as required.

 

Do I need to sign in?

We ask all guests to sign a Indemnity Form before partaking in any activity. To save time download it Click Here and bring the completed form with you. 

 

Will our session be cancelled if it rains?

You still take part in the rain. You’re going to get wet anyway and it’s good fun in the rain. We may need to postpone Jet Ski Rental in heavy rain. We have a very kind micro climate and miss much of the bad weather.

 

What happens if there is a storm?

If a storm cancels play we will try to recommence your activity as soon as possible. If this is not possible, you will receive a credit to visit us again for a new session.

 

Is there parking?

There is parking and an overflow for busy days. Please park considerately ensuring the maximum number of cars can use the car park

 

Are dogs allowed on site?

We love dogs and well-behaved dogs are always welcome. We ask you to respect other guests and ensure your dog isn’t a nuisance (including barking) or cause fear to any guest.

 

Can I participate if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant, we do not advise you partake in any activity.

 

Must I remove all jewellery?

Yes: We recommend jewellery is removed for all activities and essential for the Aqua Park. This includes ALL removable earrings. If you have recently had any piercings, reception can provide tape to cover them.

 

Can I cancel or change my booking?

No, to be fair to everyone, we ask you to only book if you are sure you can get here. We are oversubscribed in high season so booking and then cancelling causes disappointment to other guests.

 

What happens if I am late?

We cannot be held responsible if you are late and whilst we will do our best to help; this cannot be guaranteed. If you miss your session, no refund will be given.

 

How old do you need to be to go on the aqua park?

The minimum age for participation on the Aqua Park is 6 years old. We recommend children aged 6 to 11 are accompanied by an adult.  

 

Can I leave the aqua park before my 50 minutes is up?

Yes: you can leave before your session is up, however you cannot return to the Aqua Park once you have left.

 

Can I wear shoes?

Trainers or wet shoes can be worn on Jet Ski’s. No shoes to be worn on any other activity. You can wear wetsuit boots, or wetsuit socks on the Aqua Park – no hard soles. However Barefoot is fab for all activities.

 

Can I wear my spectacles?

We strongly advised not to wear your spectacles on any of the activities, prescription goggles are a good alternative. If you have to wear your glasses whilst Jet Skiing, this is done entirely at your own risk, as there is a high chance of losing or damaging them. Please ensure you use a sports band strap retainer for your glasses.

 

How can I book?

Call us on 01797 321885. We do ask for payment to secure your booking, unfortunately we are unable to take bookings via email as we do ask for credit/debit card details at time of booking, please have your card handy when calling. Availability on the lake changes regularly and activities are not reserved until the point of booking confirmation.
