How it happened...

In year 2000 water ski competitors Simon & Dianne Raine realised every water skier's dream of owning their own lake.

This lake was the perfect size for a world class water-ski facility. They set about transforming this barren hole in the ground into a friendly and welcoming place to enjoy a host of Watersports, starting as a jet ski centre.

As the extensive modifications with large scale landscaping and tree planting got underway the lake became more and more sheltered.

In 2004 Action Watersports reception & shop was moved to the east side of the lake with a windbreak constructed in 2005 offering superb water conditions meaning the demand for waterskiing and wakeboarding grew.

We offer a 22 acre purpose built sheltered private lake (650x100m) with a water ski slalom course, wakeboard sliders and kickers and barefoot water ski jump ramp.

There are dedicated Watersports and Jet Ski times on the lake ensuring great water conditions and safety for everyone.

On dry land, you'll find a well stocked pro shop full of the latest equipment and clothing brands. Hot showers, toilets and changing rooms. Comfortable lounge area with refreshments and free wireless network access.

Relax on our lakeside decking and lawn with a children's play area or use our gas barbeque.

Action Watersports is a Royal Yachting Association recognised teaching establishment and British Water Ski & Wakeboard Accredited School.

Beginners can have fun with our friendly and structured courses. For the more experienced slalom, wakeboard and barefoot water skiers we offer the latest advanced coaching techniques.
