As a British Water-ski Federation Registered Ski School & RYA Training Centre Action Watersports offers you the opportunity to experience water-skiing, wakeboarding or Jet Skiing on a large, private, freshwater lake. We employ a structured lesson plan which allows the group to watch each other whilst participating. We have found this really adds to the shared experience and builds camaraderie in the group. Bring your food and enjoy it in the cabin or on the sun deck. The gas BBQ is there for you to use with snacks and drinks available in the shop. We are delighted to offer groups the Water-Ski or Wakeboard group sessions in our structured, safe, and fun environment. The day is suitable for all abilities from the complete novice to a top competitor, as all sessions are 1 to 1. The fantastic experience includes two introductory lessons on the water. All equipment is supplied and prior to taking to the water we ensure all of your questions are answered as we take you through the dryland training together. We start on the water using a training boom on the side of our tournament water-ski boat. This allows for a more progressive and rewarding learning process. After the first lesson we have a break allowing for recovery time and additional dry land training if required. The second lesson allows everyone in the group to progress at their own speed.
As an RYA Training Centre, Action Watersports' Jet Ski Experience Day offers a fantastic opportunity to get a real insight into the handling, maneuvering and background knowledge of Jet Skis.
In the afternoon there are fun and games around a slalom course - where you can experience how the Jet Ski handles with you and passengers. At the end of the course you can apply for an RYA Certificate of Competence which is an internationally recognised Jet Ski Qualification. With a maximum of 6 participants a full, active day is guaranteed. |

Water-skiing is an exciting and high profile sport enjoyed by all age groups. Wakeboarding is the latest sport to join the high adrenalin world of watersports - a definite must to try. It has been compared to skateboarding and is the snowboarding equivalent on water, guaranteeing a highly exciting ride! Both sports mix physical exercise with a mental concentration challenge; offering progressive learning curves and high sense of achievement which leads to increased levels of self esteem and motivation.
You spend the entire day at the lake using all our equipment - learning a wide variety of skills for handling, launching, emergency stops, how environmental conditions effect your skiing and much, much more.
